Welcome to NTU BSL Society!

About us...

Welcome to British Sign Language society!

We are a growing society who teach and learn how to sign whilst spreading awareness for the deaf community.

We have regular sessions on several campuses (City, Clifton, Mansfield and Brackenhurst) where you can learn BSL. Anyone is welcome to join, whether you are a beginner in BSL or a more experienced signer. We will also have guest speaker events and social activities throughout the year, such as games nights, coffee mornings, and nights out, as well as charity fundraising events that you can get involved in.

New members are always welcome to test out a session before committing to officially joining the society. This year we plan to have additional advanced sessions for returning members looking to improve their knowledge of BSL.

Clifton sessions are every Wednesday 4-5:30pm. City sessions are every Friday 4:30-6pm. Mansfield sessions are every other week on Thursday 4-6pm. Brackenhurst sessions are every 4 weeks on Wednesdays 4-6pm. Please see the 'events' section of this webpage to see more details and events.
