Deaf Awareness session
To celebrate Sign Language week, BSL society are running a Deaf Awareness session with Simon from the Nottinghamshire Deaf Society. Simon will teach us about respectful and effective communication with d/Deaf people, this will be especially helpful if you know or work with deaf peopl. Interpreters will be present to help with communication.
Everyone is welcome including those with no prior knowledge or experience of sign language, all NTU students and staff are welcome to join!
This session will be in NEWLT9 in Newton building on NTU City campus. Please book on below to attend (tickets are free).
