Gone are the days of elections! Now, becoming a Course Rep is easier than ever. Simply volunteer by submitting your details using the link below.
At the end of this form you will be asked to choose an induction session. This is a crucial step in your journey to become a Course Rep as you will only be considered an official course rep once you have attended a session.
Shortly after completing the training, a member of the NTSU team will be in touch to welcome you on board and let you know what’s next!
Important Note: Only those who attend the induction session will be considered as Course Reps. If you volunteer via the QR code but fail to attend a session, your details will be removed from the Course Rep database, and you will not be invited to Course Rep meetings.
You'll attend forums, conferences, and assemblies, collating feedback that leads to vital change within your course.
You will be encouraged to look at the NTU academic experience holistically, including support, employability, sport, library services, wellbeing, and much more.
The main benefit is obviously improving your course, but being a rep is also a great opportunity for personal development, helping you to gain skills, grow, and get more out of your time as a student!
Speaking of personal development, you will also get exclusive access to the rep development scheme, which is a brand-new addition for this academic year. The scheme will deliver a variety of sessions, aimed at equipping course reps with the most in-demand skills and competencies.
Need more persuading? Well, if you're an undergraduate, you can also include your Course Rep experience on your HEAR, which will help you stand out to employers once you graduate.
If it sounds like a lot of responsibility, don't worry—it's not. The time commitment is only 1-2 hours per week on average. In addition, you'll receive plenty of training and support from NTSU's staff, the VP Education and VP Postgraduate
There are Course Rep opportunities for undergraduates and postgraduates at all NTU campuses, including Mansfield and Confetti.
Sound good? Then volunteer today via the button below.
