Welcome to the NTSU Medieval Society. We are a historical re-enactment society focusing on what life would have been like in the Norman period in Britain. We practice real medieval combat and archery and teach our members all sorts of historical crafts, from pottery and sewing to leatherwork and making chainmail!

We hold socials, training sessions and craft sessions all with the aim of taking part in country-wide events, where we camp under the stars at castles and entertain the public with combat and craft displays.

We train each Saturday from 11am-4pm and have craft sessions every Monday from 6! You can get involved with as much or as little as you like. Whether you’re only interested in the crafts or want to take part in the combat, we are certain that we can offer something for you.
