At Africa Connect, we aim to unite students in showcasing African culture, staying informed about recent developments in Africa, sharing any concerns related to university life, and promoting investment in Africa.

Aims

• Unite African students and showcase African culture.

• Stay updated on recent developments in Africa and engage in discussions on key issues.

• Promote African culture, investment, and tourism to all students, both African and non-African.

• Facilitate the integration of African students into university life.

Strategy

We will achieve these aims by creating opportunities throughout the academic year that inspire members to remain passionate about Africa and its diverse cultures, allowing for the free expression of culture for both members and non-members. We welcome suggestions from all members and interested students.

Events

We will host a variety of events, including discussions, guest appearances, fashion shows, dance exhibitions, travel opportunities, African food and beverage tasting, and recognition of African nations, among others. Membership is open to all students, not just those of African descent.
