At Africa Connect, our mission is to unite students in the celebration of African culture, to keep our members informed about recent developments in Africa, to address any concerns related to university life, and to promote investment opportunities within the continent.

Aims

• To unite African students and showcase the richness of African culture.

• To stay informed about recent developments in Africa and facilitate discussions on pertinent issues.

• To promote African culture, investment, and tourism among all students, irrespective of their background.

• To support the integration of African students into the university community.

Strategy

We will realize these aims by providing a range of opportunities throughout the academic year that inspire our members to engage passionately with Africa and its diverse cultures. We encourage the free expression of culture for both members and non-members alike, and we welcome suggestions from all members and interested students.

Events

Our society will host an array of events, including discussions, guest speaker sessions, fashion shows, dance exhibitions, travel opportunities, tastings of African cuisine, and celebrations of African nations, among others. Membership is open to all students, not limited to those of African descent.
