Alot of LGBTQ+ people can feel isolated at times or sometimes need a safe space they know they can go to. This can be a multitude of reasons some of which can be stress, isolation, loneliness and emotional support.

Therefore we propse an idea to introduce Pride lounges to the three main campuses City, Clifton and Brackenhurst. These would be small rooms where LGBTQ+ people and thier allies can go on campus where they can find other LGBTQ+ students, who might also need another person to talk to or just be around. This would create and accessible and friendly safe space for LGBTQ+ students that is warm and welcoming where they know they can always go on a campus. Espcially on more isolated campuses where they might not just be able to go home between classes. But even for places like City campus some students commute or dont have the time to go home between classes.

Creating this space would benfit LGBTQ+ students in helping create a strong LGBTQ+ student communty and allow more LGBTQ+ students to meet and allow the community to support one and other further.
