Law Society held a night of networking, delicious cuisine, and unforgettable moments that left students buzzing with excitement and inspiration.
Picture this: 50 legal professionals mingling with eager students over a three-course meal, all while soaking in the wisdom shared by esteemed speakers like Robert Sadler (Law Society president), Jenny Chapman (Executive Dean of NLS), and Akil Hunte (NLS Alumnus). It was an evening filled with opportunity, where connections were made, insights were gained, and futures were shaped.
But the fun didn't stop there – guests were treated to an electrifying performance by NTSU Sing, adding a touch of entertainment. Students had the opportunity to mingle with industry experts, soaking up knowledge and advice that would serve them well on their career journeys.
The Law Society went above and beyond to ensure that this event was accessible to all students, offering tickets at a reduced price compared to previous years.
But the Law Society's impact doesn't end there! They've been busy planning a thrilling BCLP London trip, providing 10 lucky students with the chance to explore the legal scene of the capital city. From networking with practicing lawyers to gaining insights into securing a training contract, this trip was a game-changer for those looking to kickstart their legal careers.
With their heartwarming collaboration with the Help In The Community Society, they organised a soup kitchen to support those in need. With over 100 portions of soup and sandwiches served, it was a testament to the power of teamwork and community investment.
From networking dinners to community service initiatives, the Law Society continues to leave an indelible mark on our campus and beyond.
