Slam dunk into success with Filipino society as they dominate the Inter-uni Filsoc Basketball Tournament.

Held at the electrifying Nottingham Wildcats Arena, the tournament brought together Filsocs from universities across the UK for an epic showdown on the court

With fierce competition from the likes of Leeds/Durham, Cardiff/Swansea, UoN, Bristol, Derby, Sheffield, and Surrey, NTU Filsoc rose to the challenge, winning all three of our group stage matches against their tough opponents. The semi-finals clash against Leeds/Durham was nothing short of exhilarating, as they battled their way to victory and secured a spot in the finals.

The real magic happened in the championship game, where NTU Filsoc faced off against formidable rivals Cardiff/Swansea. With determination and teamwork, they emerged triumphant, taking the winning title of the tournament.

This remarkable achievement marks the second consecutive year that NTU Filsoc has claimed the top spot, solidifying their status as the undisputed basketball champions.

Not only did our team shine on the court, but they also earned well-deserved recognition with three players receiving "honourable mentions" awards.

But the celebrations didn't stop there! The basketball team dazzled in custom-made jerseys, a testament to their unity and spirit as a society, with each player proudly sporting their personalised gear.

Reflect on this monumental achievement, they couldn't be prouder of their basketball team for their hard work, dedication, and passion for the game.
