For our second hike of the year we will set off at 11 AM and join the Thornhill trail, this will be a long flat mostly paved trail leading up to Ladybower Dam. We will then walk along the Dam before starting a sharp incline up to Bamford Edge. Once at the top we will walk along the edge getting views down in to Hope Valley and of the Ladybower Reserviour. We will then head down off the Edge and back into Bamford.finishing at a nearby pub.

We have a shorter route available on the day for those who feel less confident, please message the committee in advance so we can make the appropriate arrangments for you. More information will be given on the day also.

What You Will Need:

• Walking shoes (with ankle support)
• Packed lunch
• At least 2l of water (more if you need)
• ID if you plan on join us at the pub
• Torch (phone wont be strong enough)
• Suncream
• Waterproof Jacket
• Bring layers of clothing as the temperature change
