"Pride 2014 is definitely going ahead this year – thanks to the support of the community, Nottingham City Council, and the Creative Quarter!

 

This year, Pride will be like never before…

 

The Plan:

 

Nottinghamshire Pride will be taking place this year on Saturday 26th July in the Lace Market Market and Hockley. We’ve yet to meet with the local businesses to establish exactly how they will be involved, but we are hoping to use either Lace Market Square or Broadway Square for a stage area, with the main walk way being Broad Street and stalls along Heathcoat Street. There will be a march from Market Square, up Pelham Street to George Street then Broad Street. The aim would be to end up at either Broadway Square or Lace Market Square.

 

We’re aiming for a carnival atmosphere, with street performers and local acts and artists creating a happy proud vibe within our vibrant city.

 

It will be a celebration of diversity and a Pride everybody can be proud of."
