A social event for new Confetti students to meet your Societies and make friends!  

 

Students tell us that being in a Society is a highlight of their Uni experience. And with over 130 Societies to discover at NTSU, you’re bound to find one you’ll love.

 

With Give It A Go, we’re offering something more than you get at a regular Freshers Fair – a chance to try out Societies’ activities!  Handpicked especially for Confetti students by your Student Union, there’ll be a selection of Society tasters for you to have a go at, including:

• Broadcasting and DJing     [Fly Radio]
• Audio and Lighting taster   [Event Society]
• Pokémon games                 [Pokémon Society]
• Film Camera taster             [Trent TV]
• Creative Pride taster          [NTU Pride Society]

 

Plus: give our Speed Friending workshops a go – perfect if you don’t know anyone yet!  Jo from NTSU will lead these fun, informal icebreakers aimed at getting to know each other and kickstarting your adventure at Confetti.
Don’t worry – there’ll be lots of opportunity for informal chat, if that’s more your thing.  NTU Arts will also join us with some colourful creative activities so you can chill, chat, and create.

 

The event is free with no booking required – just check the details below and show up!

2pm – 5pm, Confetti HE Social Space
Confetti HE Social Space is above Confetti X. You can access it through the Confetti X entrance on Huntingdon Street, and take the stairs or lift to the second floor.  Alternatively, there’ll be a meeting point in Metronome Atrium at 1:50pm, where a staff member can take you over to join Tasty.
