Your Students’ Union (NTSU) is here to make sure you get the most out of your time here at Trent. Below are just some of the opportunities we offer to help make that happen.
NTSU’s venues are great places to catch up on your studies or just grab a coffee with friends and we have one on all three campuses.
We run a year-round programme of events and activities from day trips around the country to quizzes and clothing sales. Find all our current events here. Check out NTU’s Winter Welcome programme too. It’s full of events that have been specifically designed to welcome you to NTU in your first few weeks.
There are over 150 societies you can get involved in at the Students’ Union. Joining one is an opportunity to try something new and meet new friends. We also have a Mature, Postgraduate and Non-Traditional Students Facebook Group where you can connect with other postgraduate students.
If you’re in need of a helping hand with your studies or adjusting to postgraduate life, our Information and Advice Service are here to help. They offer free, impartial advice and guidance on everything from money matters to mental health. You can find out more and book an appointment with them here.
You can also get in touch with me or another member of NTSU’s Executive Team. We are elected to represent you during your time here at Trent and we can help to put in place important changes on your behalf.
You can find out more about the opportunities on offer at the Students’ Union here on our website or in our Union Guide.
