Want to walk in the Pride parades but don’t have anyone to walk with?
We are welcoming staff and students to meet us at the City SU to join the march with us. This year there are two different pride walks happening, including the first-ever Nottingham Trans Pride.
We are proud to represent our LGBTQIA+ community.
Notts Trans Pride
Sat 15th June
Meet at City SU at 9:45am
Meet your people, grab the face paint and fill your water bottle! Allies are warmly encouraged to come and support fellow students. We will leave at 10:30 to travel together to the main march.
ROUTE: We will follow the tram lines along Goldsmith Street, past Royal Centre, towards the Market Square. We will turn left at Long Row to walk past the Town Hall, continuing into Hockley. We will turn right on Broad Street to join the march start point at Broadway Cinema.
Notts Pride
Sat 27th July
Meet at City SU at 9:30am
Meet fellow students, get your glitter on and grab some water for the march. Allies are very welcome. We will leave at 10:15 to travel together to the main march.
ROUTE: We will follow the tram lines along Goldsmith Street, past Royal Centre and the Market Square. We will continue along Wheeler Gate to meet the main march at the intersection of Lister Gate and Castle Gate.
Banner Making Workshop
Mon 10th June
Drop in to City Think Tank between 4pm-8pm
We will also be holding a banner and sign making workshop, led by members of NTU Pride Society, where you can create signs to hold during the march. Allies are so welcome to join in and support fellow students.
