Earlier this month, NTSU’s Enterprise Week gave students the opportunity to turn their budding business ideas into a success, with a week-long programme of entrepreneurial workshops and a Dragon’s Den style competition with £4000 worth of funding up for grabs.
The workshops proved extremely popular and we had some amazing entries for Trent Dragon’s Den 2018, with 9 students taking home cash prizes.
The winners were:
The £1000 prize winner:
Most Commercially Viable Business - Jashaan Gill (clothing brand)
Green Dragon Award for the Most Sustainable - Bradley Smith (clothing brand)
The £750 prize winners:
Best pitch - Kirsty Jenkins (community and entertainment space)
Most innovative - Jamin Crofts (technology products)
The £100 runners up prize winners:
Robert Orchard (vintage clothing)
Chris Starns (online marketing platform)
Jasmine Baker (online clothing portal)
Nikita Shere (community space/ food and drink outlet)
Abbie Norman (clothing brand)
Congratulations to the award winners and thank you to all those who were involved in NTSU's Student Enterprise Week 2018.
