Student’s Big Idea becomes reality
Card readers have been installed in vending machines at Boots Library thanks to a Big Idea submitted through the Students’ Union back in December!
NTSU’s Big Ideas scheme allows students to submit ideas for improvements they’d like to see made at the University or Students’ Union. The Students’ Union then work alongside NTU to put them into place and this is one of a number that have been implemented already this year.
The vending machine on the lower ground floor of the library now accept card payments and are available to access during library opening hours.
Hannah, the student who submitted the Big Idea, said: "I didn't expect the Big Idea to be implemented so quickly. I'm really pleased with the process and can't wait to use my card on the vending machines!"
