As your Student’s Union, our aim to support you goes beyond the services we offer. It’s also a key value in how we approach student staff jobs.
That is why working for us means flexible hours to accommodate your studies, opportunities for training and development, and the chance to meet like-minded students in your team.
We’re currently recruiting for several student staff jobs across our campuses, and one of these jobs could be perfect for you. Check them out below. (All roles start Sept 2022, and applications close 25th August unless otherwise stated.)

Black History Month Project Coordinator
Help us plan engaging and empowering student-led BHM events. (Starts 1st Aug. Applications close Sun 17th July)
Coffee Shop Assistant (City or Clifton)
Work at one of our coffee shops preparing hot and cold drinks and delivering a welcoming service to all customers.
Bar Assistant (City, Clifton, or Brackenhurst)
Work as part of a team to serve drinks and food to customers at the Students’ Union.
City Campus
Welcome Assistant
Work as part of our front-of-house team welcoming visitors, answering phone calls, and assisting with events.
Brackenhurst Campus
Brackenhurst Engagement Assistant
Support events such as Wellbeing Wednesdays and Brackfest and represent NTSU on University open days.
Orangery Assistant
Work in The Orangery café preparing hot and cold drinks and delivering a welcoming service to all customers.
Retail Assistant
Work at one of our shops to deliver an excellent customer experience, maximise sales, and manage the stock.
