NTSU wins NUS Officer Team of the Year 2014
We already knew it, but now it's official - these guys are the best officer team in the country!
In a fitting end to a huge year at NTSU, which has seen us open a brand new flagship building and go from strength to strength, our awesome outgoing Exec team were announced as winners of the NUS Officer Team of the Year at the NUS Awards 2014.
This fantastic accolade reflects the successes of the last year which were achieved under the stewardship of the Exec team, who have helped to make NTSU one of the best students’ unions in the country and fully deserving of national recognition.
Marcus Boswell, current NTSU President and member of the winning team as last year’s VP Services & Communications, said “To go through the hectic year that we have experienced and come through clear on the other side, still great friends and having made a real impact, is a testament to Jo and her ability to guide us all in the right direction. The real test now comes for us as a new officer team in topping this; we have already set our sights on being named Higher Education Students’ Union of the Year 2014/15 at next year’s NUS awards. That is going to be difficult, but it would be ground breaking-having to win an NUS award 3 years in a row."
NTSU would like to say congratulations to the outgoing officers for all their hard work over the last year and wish them well for the future. We are also happy to retain two of the award-winning team for second year in office and look forward to our future successes together.
