The programme which gives students the opportunity to raise vital funds for charities across the world has been nominated for the Most Improved Student Fundraising Group at the National Student Fundraising Association Awards (NaSFA).
NTSU RAG raised over £100,000 this year with challenges including Kilimanjaro, Three Peaks and Jailbreak, while also organising events such as RAG Bingo and the Mince Pie Eating Contest earlier in the academic year.
Liv Broad, NTSU’s VP Community and Welfare 2019/20, said: “RAG gives students the opportunity to develop vital skills and experience for their CV as well as making a difference to charities across the world. It’s great to see the hard work our Opportunities Team have put into expanding it this year recognised wit this nomination.”
The awards will be livestreamed on Friday 24th July at 7pm via NaSFA’s social media channels.
