Following the by-election for the role of International Students' Officer, NTSU is happy to announce that Rina Tokunaga Gavilan has won the election and will become your International Students' Officer on 30th June 2014.

Hi, I’m Rina Tokunaga Gavilan and I am currently on my placement year at NTU in the International Development Office as an international marketing assistant.  I inherited both Japanese and Spanish culture from a young age and I am a tolerant person. Studying in foreign university is very special for me and I believe it is for everyone. I would like to make this experience very special for all NTU students and myself. I would like to improve the awareness of supports that NTU provides to all international students as well as engagement of national and international students throughout providing social activities and better communication by using the knowledge that I have gained through my placement year.
