Friday 4th May marked the return of BrackFest, our annual summer celebration of life at Brackenhurst Campus, and the event was a huge success!
The five hour festival saw 100s of students and staff come through to enjoy food, relax and celebrate another year at the campus, with live music, animal handling, market stalls, local food and a bouncy castle being just some of what was on offer.
Our Disney and Animal First Aid societies provided activities on the day and we had some fabulous local musicians playing under some beautiful Brackenhurst sunshine, including 2 Brack students, Emily Garrett and Will Heeney.
As part of the festival, we also sold BrackFest badges and patches for charity on the day and we’re delighted to announce that we raised £66.28 for Brinsley Animal Rescue, the charity voted for by the Brackenhurst students! You can still buy your BrackFest merchandise in the Orangery and NTSU shop while stocks last.
Thank you to everyone who took part and made BrackFest 2018 such a memorable day. We’re looking forward to next year already!
