As a student at Mansfield, you are automatically a member of Nottingham Trent Students' Union and can access our facilities and opportunities — it's one of the perks of being an NTU student.
The Students' Union building in the city centre may be some distance from Mansfield, but we still have lots to offer you. If you want to feel more connected to NTU's main campus or fancy a change of scene from Mansfield, come and visit us on Shakespeare Street. The SU is a great place to meet with friends over coffee or at one of our events.

While our Information and Advice Service doesn't offer face-to-face appointments at Mansfield, you can still get free, confidential advice on everything from housing to mental health by booking an appointment with one of our trained advisers. We offer face-to-face at City Campus and online or telephone appointments if you prefer.
Your voice matters, and the Students' Union is here to ensure it's heard. We have a team of student representatives, including your Mansfield Officer, who are elected to represent students at Mansfield and improve student life on campus.
We also have Course Reps and School Officers who represent your academic interests and equality and diversity networks that help you meet like-minded students with shared values and experiences.
You can vote for all of your reps in our annual elections. If you want to propose specific changes to the student experience at Mansfield, why not nominate yourself to become a representative in our elections? If you can't wait until then, you can submit a Big Idea (or vote on other students' ideas) anytime throughout the year.
