► Your Exec

The Exec (or Board of Elected Directors as they're more formally known) are full-time, paid officers tasked with running NTSU during a year-long sabbatical from their courses at NTU.

During the annual NTSU elections, a few brave Trent students campaign their hearts out in hopes of gaining the most votes and securing a place in the next year‘s Exec, so they take their responsibilities very seriously and work as hard as they can to make sure you are represented and truly have a say in how your Union is run.

The Exec also sit on the Board of Trustees, which has overall legal responsibility for the proper conduct of the Union and its affairs. The Board of Trustees' Terms of Reference explains in detail what the Board of Trustees is, how often it meets, and how you can attend it.

Read on to find out more about the Exec and how you can get in touch - and make sure to attend each Union General Meeting (UGM) so you can ask the Exec what they’ve been up to recently, and vote on possible changes in your Union.
