Stride is a free training and development workshop programme offered by Nottingham Trent Students’ Union. Whether you’re a first year student looking for some tips on how to manage your money, or a final year student who needs to make your CV stand out to future employers, Stride has something to offer you. And the best bit is that it’s all free and open to all Trent students.
Stride's sessions are arranged in programmes, and you can attend as few or as many sessions as you wish. And what's more, Stride is approved by the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce, so attending sessions and completing modules will earn you Stride Certificates that are recognised by many local employers.

Stride works in partnership with Libraries and Learning Resources (LLR) to bring you sessions which will benefit not only your time at university, but will also give you transferable skills which will help you in the future. LLR courses are part of the Stride programme, and can count towards your Stride Certificate. All you need to do is make sure you mention 'Stride' to your LLR session leader, so that a record can be made of your attendance.
