If you have any questions at all regarding LGBT issues, then don’t hesitate to contact your representatives:

James Cutts - LGBT Officer

@lgbtofficer

Hello, I'm James Cutts, the LGBT Officer at Nottingham Trent Students' Union for 2011/12. I'm a final year Broadcast Journalism student.

Over the course of the next few weeks and months, this part of the SU website will be updated with the latest on what I'm doing to make sure LGBT students are fully represented at Union level. These webpages are very much a work in progress. I will be working closely with NUS to make sure that NTSU is at the heart of campaigning for equality.

If you want information on LGBT socials, there is a thriving Pride society that you can find on Facebook. Here, you will find all the information and news that you need to get involved in campaigning for lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans equality. I'll also be running a wide consultation in the winter of 2011 to see what the LGBT community want from your Union.

In the meantime, if you have any issues at all, then please get in touch with me via email. It's important that there is someone to support you should you feel discriminated against or just need some advice.

Hi, I’m Caitlin, Vice President of Welfare and Involvement. I’ll be working with James for the next year to ensure you are represented by NTSU and that you have the best experience during your time at Trent. My job entails looking after student welfare, which covers issues from housing to finance to sexual health. I also look after Initi8, our volunteering scheme, and RaG, our charity fundraising group.

If you have any queries at all, just drop me an email and I will be more than happy to help!
