International Students make up a vital part of the Students' Union's membership, and so we here at NTSU aim to offer you services and support to help you during your time at NTU.
In case you’re not familiar with what a Students’ Union is, NTSU is an organisation that exists to offer you advice and support, a chance to express your views as a student, ways to increase your chances of employment, and high-quality social events and entertainments to make your time here as safe and enjoyable as possible. Your Elected Directors and Student Directors, who are all former and current NTU students themselves, look after different areas of the Students' Union in order to make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible, and that you get the most out of your Union.
Joining a society is a great way to make new friends and explore your interests with like-minded people. Here at NTSU, societies range from personal interests and course-based societies, to faith and cultural societies. And best of all, you can join any society online today!
Stride is our free training and development programme that helps students gain skills whilst learning. There are a wide range of sessions on offer, one of the most popular of which being the Essay Writing and Referencing session, which is very important when writing essays and attributing your sources correctly. Stride sessions are a lot of fun, and a great way to make friends and learn new skills. Sign up online here.
The Student Advice Centre can help you with any problems you may have while you are studying at NTU. No matter what the question is, they can help.
There are many more services and activities on offer at NTSU; more information about all of these is available on this website (use the navigation at the top of the page). You can also speak to us in person; please see our locations and opening times.
