NTSU provides lots of opportunities to aid your personal development while you're studying at NTU. Whether you want to pursue a personal interest, play sports either for fun or competitively, make a difference in your local community, learn new skills, or improve your employability, NTSU is on hand to help.
There are lots of active societies and sports clubs you can join at NTSU. Whatever your particular interest, or preferred sporting activity, there will be something for you to get involved in, develop your abilities, and meet like-minded people with which to share new experiences.
We also provide volunteering and fundraising opportunities, which are a great way to have some fun, try something new, and build your CV in the process. Employers love to see voluntary extra-curricular commitments on an applicant's CV, so why not give it a go?
Stride, our student training and development programme, takes place at all three campuses throughout the year, and is aimed at improving your employability and general transferable skill base. Simply by attending Stride sessions, you can earn accredited certificates to show future employers - and you'll also learn some skills to help you succeed at uni.
Interested in a career in the media? Then why not get involved in our online TV station, Trent TV, or our radio station, Fly FM? Or, for those of you with an interest in journalism, how about contributing to our official monthly magazine, Platform?
On the other hand, if you are looking for more immediately practical work experience, our JobShop service can you help you find part-time work while you're at Trent.
